The FBDM renders an Environmental Health Service to rural communities within the district as well as the municipalities of Dikgatlong, Magareng, Phokwane rural and the DMA. The Environmental Health Programmes form part of the IDP through inter alia the Integrated Waste Management Plan (IWMP) and the Integrated Environmental Management Plan (IEMP).
