  • To ensure a healthy and safe environment as well as an environmentally aware community
  • The processing of rezoning and subdivision applications for the district as well as Category B municipalities
  • The administration of a Spatial Development Framework and the rehabilitation of farm land.
  • The rendering of a comprehensive Information Technology Services
  • The delivery of an efficient and equitable Human Resources Management and Human Resources Development function.
  • Ensure the delivery of an effective Social Development Service
  • The prevention of the spread of HIV/AIDS in the district
