Enablis Competition Site
The 2007 Enablis Business Plan Challenge is South Africa’s biggest and most exciting business plan competition.
The Challenge exists to offer entrepreneurs the opportunity to develop their business plan writing skills, have their business plans fairly evaluated by business experts, and, if selected as a winner, be eligible for fast-track funding from Enablis and its funding partners.
Winners also receive an exciting array of prizes from Enablis, Pinnacle Computers, PostNet, the Sunday Times and Pan MacMillan Publishers.
The competition is open to both business startups (ie if you have a business idea that you would like to launch) as well as businesses that are already trading, and want to expand.
The Challenge offers you a range of practical and effective resources to help you prepare and write a winning business plan, including a national workshop programme, in every province, an on-line business plan creator, a series of articles in the Sunday Times “It’s My Business” supplement, a business plan workbook, and a discount on business planning software.
Once you have entered your business plan, it will be evaluated by a countrywide team of business advisers, in association with the Enterprise Support network. 60 finalists will be selected (30 business ideas and 30 existing businesses), and these finalists will present their business plan to a panel of judges made up of business leaders and successful entrepreneurs.
A large part of the benefit of entering the competition is that the finalists and winners are exposed to, and can connect with, a new and exciting network of investors, entrepreneurs and advisers.
The closing date for the competition is August 31, 2007. For full details on the competition, please go to www.enabliscompetition.co.za
